We are currently hiring for the role of a Network Technician Specialist with a Leading firm based in Mumbai.

Designation: Network Technician Specialist

Location: (Vikhroli) (Pan Mumbai or Pan India (Field/Client Visit)

Experience Required: Minimum 6 years

Education: Any Graduate

Dayshift with Alternate Sat Offs/Sun fixed off

Certifications:

Mandatory: CCNA Certified or Trained

Preferred: CCNSP, NSE4, NSE5

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network TechnicalSpecialist

to join our IMS team. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical

expertise in network design, troubleshooting, and security, as well as

hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment and protocols.

The ideal candidate should be capable of supporting high-availability

infrastructures and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure robust networking environments, ensuring

adherence to system standards.

• Plan and implement new network solutions to enhance performance

and resilience.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and

availability.

• Investigate and resolve LAN/WAN issues using diagnostic tools

and performance data.

• Enforce and maintain network security policies and access controls.

• Configure, install, and manage firewalls (Mandatory:Sophos,

Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco).

• Support and administer firewall solutions (Fortinet, SonicWall,

Juniper, etc.).

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors for

project implementation.

• Provide remote technical support to field engineers and end users.

• Perform network equipment upgrades and manage firmware

releases.

• Configure and support routing, switching, and hosted IPvoice

services.

• Maintain accurate network documentation and IP address

management.

• Participate in audits, capacity planning, and infrastructure

assessments.

• Communicate effectively with clients forrequirement gathering and

support coordination.

Technical

Cisco Routers C Switches

• Firewalls: Sophos Fortinet , Palo Alto , Cisco ASA SonicWall, Juniper

• Wireless Routers C Access Points

• Strong understanding of OSI Model C TCP/IP

• Protocols: IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, NAT,VRRP, HA

• Firewallrule configurations and security policy enforcement
