Job Description (JD): 🎯 Job Title: Travel Desk Executive Location: Tirupur Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Jun to Mid level Company : THE CHENNAI SILKS The Travel Desk Executive is responsible for managing all travel-related activities for the organization, including booking transport, accommodation, and handling travel documentation. The executive ensures seamless travel arrangements for employees, visitors, and executives while adhering to company policies and cost-effectiveness. Roles and Responsibilities (R&R): 1. Travel Management: Arrange domestic and international travel (flights, trains, buses) for employees and guests. Coordinate hotel bookings and ground transportation as needed. Ensure cost-effective and timely bookings while maintaining comfort and convenience. 2. Documentation and Compliance: Handle visa applications, travel insurance, and other necessary documentation. Maintain proper records of all travel-related documents and invoices. Ensure compliance with company travel policies and budget. 3. Coordination & Communication: Liaise with travel agents, hotels, transport services, and internal teams. Communicate itineraries, ticket details, and travel updates to employees. Provide 24/7 support in case of emergency travel issues or changes. 4. Reporting & Record Keeping: Maintain updated travel logs, reports, and expense records. Assist with travel expense reimbursements and approvals. Prepare monthly or quarterly travel cost analysis and reports for management. 5. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with travel and accommodation vendors. Maintain a list of approved vendors and ensure quality service delivery. 6. Other Responsibilities: Support in organizing company events, offsites, and visitor logistics. Suggest improvements in travel policies and procedures based on experience and feedback. Ensure high levels of employee satisfaction with travel services.
