Transport planner

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of transportation systems and traffic patterns.
• Develop and maintain transportation models to assess current and future needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement transportation projects.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather input on transportation planning initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of transportation projects and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on new transportation technologies and best practices in the field.
  

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in transportation modeling software and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
