Job Description

Job Title: Territory Sales Executive – Food Services Channel Department: Sales & Distribution Reporting To: Area Sales Manager Experience: 2–4 Years Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Sales, or related field Purpose of the Role: To drive and manage both primary and secondary sales operations in the assigned territory. The role requires developing a strong channel partner network, increasing market penetration, and maintaining commercial discipline while delivering business objectives in the food services channel. Key Responsibilities: Sales Execution & Target Achievement Drive primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory in alignment with company goals Build and expand the channel partner network to maximize reach and depth Ensure distribution hygiene, stock availability, and service-level maintenance Market Development & Demand Forecasting Identify opportunities for growth by analyzing primary and secondary sales data Share market intelligence and ground-level insights with the Area Sales Manager Support in promotion planning, activations, and local campaigns Forecast demand in coordination with the sales planning and marketing teams Operational & Channel Management Prepare and execute daily market journey plans (MJPs) and submit timely reports Ensure timely communication and follow-up with distributors (DBs) for order processing and delivery Resolve pricing, claim, and account settlement issues in coordination with the Finance team Ensure commercial hygiene by adhering to company policies related to credit, discounts, and claims Critical Success Factors: Strong experience in managing Food Services (FS) channel sales Ability to drive distribution KPIs, product mix, and outlet expansion Proven track record in channel development and territory management Analytical mindset for interpreting sales data and identifying gaps Strong customer engagement and business development skills Knowledge of distribution metrics, ROI evaluation, and visibility planning Awareness of competitor strategies and ability to drive differentiated execution Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field 2–4 years of relevant sales experience in the FMCG/Food Services industry Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of sales reporting tools preferred
