What You’ll Own


  • End-to-end hiring

    for all functions—teachers, sales, marketing, tech, and operations (≈15–20 hires/month)
  • Craft and execute

    sourcing strategies

    (LinkedIn, Naukri, referrals, niche communities) to keep talent pipelines warm and diverse
  • Define and track TA metrics

    (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, offer-acceptance, quality-of-hire) and share insights with leadership weekly
  • Build our

    employer brand

    through careers-site content, social hiring campaigns, campus partnerships, and referral programs
  • Partner with hiring managers to

    write crisp JDs, scorecards, and interview rubrics

    that ensure fairness and skills fit
  • Opportunity to contribute to broader HR initiatives

    : performance reviews, employee engagement, L&D, policy refinement, and compliance projects
  • Champion candidate experience

    —timely communication, structured interviews, feedback loops, and smooth offer closures
  • Lead

    onboarding & day-1 readiness

    in collaboration with HR Ops so new hires hit the ground running
  • Ensure

    legal compliance

    on data privacy, diversity hiring norms, and audit trails
  • Coach junior recruiters and interview panelists on best practices


Must-Have Skills & Mindset

  • Proven ability to

    close 10–15 roles/month

    across multiple departments concurrently
  • Strong stakeholder management; can push back (politely) and influence decisions with facts
  • Excellent written & verbal communication (English; Hindi a bonus)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Indian labor laws related to hiring and equal opportunity
  • Startup DNA: bias for action, ownership, comfort with ambiguity, quick pivots


Nice-to-Have

  • Hands-on experience hiring

    sales, marketing, and tech talent
