About the Role:

Strategic Business Development Executive


Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Evaluate potential business opportunities in target industries, such as automotive, manufacturing, energy, or process engineering.


  • Technical Consultation and Solution Development:

  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to develop tailored solutions for client needs.
  • Translate technical capabilities into business value propositions.


  • Strategic Partnerships:

  • Identify and establish relationships with potential partners, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations and build long-term partnerships to foster business growth.


  • Business Planning and Execution:

  • Develop strategic business plans that align with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Define and achieve revenue and profitability targets through innovative business strategies.


  • Customer Engagement:

  • Act as a technical advisor to clients, presenting engineering solutions effectively.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and service improvements.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to align strategies.
  • Lead the implementation of business development initiatives.

Qualifications:


  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Production Engineering with MBA preferred.


  • Experience:

  • 0-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the mechanical or chemical industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development and sales targets.


  • Technical Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to discuss technical concepts with clients.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment, machinery, or chemical processes is highly desirable.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, MS Excel and Sales software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
