Staff/Senior Mechanical/Thermal Engineer

Responsibilities A competent Thermal Engineering professional with over 10+ years of experience in Mechanical & thermal design of High-density Electronics systems with success in the complete product life cycle from conceptual design to product delivery. Proficient with CFD and FEA tools for detailed system level analysis (Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer Fundamentals). Responsible for thermal performance assessment, improvements and optimization of Electronics modules using thermal simulations, experimentation and validation techniques Experience in thermal and mechanical design for Hyper scale computing and storage. Expertise in Immersion cooling for high dense servers and modules. Design of Heat sink, stifferners, Spreaders etc Mechanical test fixture design for shock & vibration Good understanding of Tolerance Stack-up analysis, DFM/DFA concepts Skills Expertise in Thermal simulation tools (FloTherm, Icepak, Solidworks Flow Simulation) Hands-on experience with thermal and air flow validation techniques using thermocouples data acquistion systems, wind tunnel, flow sensors. Experience is 3D modeling of sheet metal enclosures and PCB layout designs would be added adavantage Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system thermal specifications, work with suppliers, preparing thermal reports develop test plans and submitting test reports with final recommendations Educational Qualification : BE/B.TECH or ME/MTech in Mechanical Engineering About Micron Technology, Inc.
