About the Role

Infiligence is offering a dynamic, full-time on-site internship opportunity in Chennai for aspiring software engineers who are eager to gain hands-on experience in test and automation development and quality engineering. This is your chance to work with experienced engineers, contribute to real product features, and be part of a team that values clean code, collaboration, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
• Participate in the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers to understand software requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing for web and/or mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking systems like JIRA, Azure Devops, etc.
• Contribute to continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines.
• Learn and apply testing best practices and software development methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, Jest).
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
• Experience or coursework in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) and APIs is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, JMeter, etc.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
