Senior Test Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Lead Testing Efforts:

   Take a leading role in the planning, design, and execution of testing activities for our AI-powered platform. 

• Develop Test Strategies:

   Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. 

• Automate Testing:

   Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and other relevant tools. 

• API Testing:

   Conduct API testing to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of our backend services. 

• Performance Testing:

   Perform load testing using JMeter (or similar tools) to assess the scalability and performance of our platform. 

• CI/CD Integration:

   Collaborate with DevOps engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (or similar tools). 

• Defect Management:

   Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. 

• Mentorship:

   Provide guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers. 

• Continuous Improvement:

   Continuously evaluate and improve our testing processes and methodologies. Familiar using AI tools for automating test process.  

• Test Reporting:

   Analyse the report and communicate to the stakeholders. 

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a software testing role. 
• Strong experience in developing and executing test cases. 
• Experience with using AI tools for test process.  
• Proven expertise in automation testing using Selenium. 
• Experience with API testing methodologies and tools. 
• Experience with load testing using JMeter (or equivalent tools). 
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience with Jenkins (or similar tools). 
• Knowledge of Python scripting is a strong advantage. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Experience working in an Agile development environment. 
• Should have excellent communication skills in both written & verbal English (and have worked in global/multicultural environment)
