Job Purpose:

We are seeking a Senior Tax Specialist with expertise in VAT, Corporate Tax, and Transfer Pricing to provide specialized tax advisory services to clients in the MENA region. The role focuses on ensuring tax compliance, optimizing tax positions, and managing potential risks, particularly in cross-border transactions and tax restructuring. The ideal candidate will help clients navigate complex local and international tax regulations while aligning strategies with legal requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Advisory & Compliance
• Provide expert guidance on VAT, Corporate Tax, and Transfer Pricing, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies, including corporate tax structures, tax incentives, and risk management.
• Assist with tax return preparation, VAT registration, invoicing, and compliance reporting across the MENA region.
• VAT & Corporate Tax Services
• Offer strategic insights on VAT recovery, exemptions, and registration.
• Support clients in responding to corporate tax audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Transfer Pricing & Cross-Border Taxation
• Develop and implement transfer pricing strategies aligned with OECD guidelines and local laws.
• Handle transfer pricing documentation, audits, and disputes.
• Advise clients on cross-border tax structuring and the application of international tax treaties.
• Tax Risk Management
• Identify potential tax risks and provide solutions to mitigate exposure.
• Stay updated on MENA tax law changes and proactively inform clients about key developments.
• Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored tax solutions.
• Provide ongoing advisory support, including updates on filing deadlines and compliance changes.

Requirements:

• Expertise in VAT, Corporate Tax, and Transfer Pricing within the MENA region.
• In-depth knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing guidelines and bilateral tax treaties.
• Strong proficiency in tax planning, compliance, and documentation preparation.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.
• Excellent client management, communication, and advisory skills.
