Senior Software Engineer (MERN Stack)

About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer – Team Lead to join our fast-growing tech team. This is a hybrid role that blends hands-on development with technical leadership and team management. You will lead a team of developers, ensure the timely delivery of high-quality code, and play a key role in architectural decisions, code reviews, and mentoring. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of full stack developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship. Architect, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions. Review and improve code quality through regular code reviews and best practices. Own end-to-end project delivery, from planning and development to deployment and maintenance. Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose their adoption when beneficial. Conduct regular 1:1s, performance evaluations, and contribute to career development of team members. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 6 to 8 years of professional software development experience with a strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript , React.js , Node.js , or similar stacks. Proficiency in REST APIs , SQL/NoSQL databases , and cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , or GCP . Strong experience in version control tools (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows. Solid understanding of system architecture, security, and scalable application design. Prior experience in leading a development team.
