Job Title: Software Test Engineer
Location: Ekkaduthangal, Chennai
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Software Testing Engineer with a solid background in both manual and automation testing to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in testing web applications, and a commitment to ensuring high product quality.
Key Responsibilities
Deep understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
Hands-on experience in Automation Testing using tools like Selenium, Telerik Test Studio, or equivalent frameworks.
Strong foundation in Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration Testing.
Experience in Performance and Load Testing using JMeter or similar tools is a must.
Exposure to cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent user experience.
Ability to record, execute, and debug test scripts, including element identification and manipulation.
Strong skills in creating and managing test suites, test data, and test documentation.
Solid experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and pipelines.
Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality releases.
Perform thorough analysis of test results, identifying root causes and proposing solutions.
Clear and concise reporting of bugs, with logs, screenshots, and environment details.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Proficient in using version control systems like Git, TFS, or SVN.
Soft Skills

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
Proactive team player with a positive attitude, especially during tight project timelines.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Preferred)
Experience:
Total work experience: Minimum 2 years (Preferred)
Automation testing with Selenium or equivalent tools: 2 years (Preferred)
Preferred Candidate Profile
Must be willing to relocate or commute reliably to Ekkaduthangal, Chennai – 600032.
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.

Pay: ₹515,850.79 - ₹1,714,610.76 per year
