Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications, covering functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Lead and contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, and Appium.
• Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman and RestAssured to ensure the reliability and performance of our backend systems.
• Conduct mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms, identifying and documenting platform-specific issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure continuous quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling to identify and address potential bottlenecks and ensure optimal application performance.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and provide valuable QA insights.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide feedback on design and usability, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system, and work closely with development teams to ensure their timely resolution.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices within the team.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA engineers.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.
• Extensive hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium (for web), Cypress (for web), and Appium (for mobile).
• Solid understanding and practical experience in API testing using tools like Postman and RestAssured.
• Experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Proficiency in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
