Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Selenium WebDriver with Python, API testing, and testing strategy implementation across web and mobile applications. This is a hands-on role where you will lead QA initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Python
• Perform manual testing for functional, UI, regression, smoke, and integration testing
• Implement automated test frameworks and contribute to continuous improvement of test strategies
• Write and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data for various testing stages
• Conduct API testing using Postman or Python-based tools (e.g., Requests)
• Validate and verify database values using SQL queries
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Execute tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Maintain proper defect logging and tracking using JIRA or similar tools

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of total QA experience with 4+ years in manual testing
• 2+ years hands-on experience in automation testing with Selenium and Python
• Strong experience with PyTest, unittest, or other automation frameworks
• Experience in cross-browser testing, responsive UI testing, and mobile web testing
• Good knowledge of REST API testing, tools like Postman or Python Requests
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and TestRail or equivalent tools
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Working knowledge of SQL for backend validation
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable test code

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Salesforce, eCommerce, or fintech domain is a plus
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter
• Experience with Playwright, Appium, or mobile automation (optional)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud test environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
