Senior Manager HVAC

Develop new business relationships with end-user clients to position and create a business case to utilize Carrier building solutions in their facilities, new construction and replacement projects Reviews small construction project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project Provide leadership, administrative and technical supervision for direct reports (mechanical, electrical and software engineers) Provide product strategy and planning Own product portfolio P&L Perform business cases for new products/product re-launch & programs to ensure growth  Key Responsibilities:    HVAC System Design: Design HVAC systems using all manufacturer products that meet the unique requirements of residential, commercial, and industrial clients.    Project Assessment: Collaborate with sales and project management teams to assess client needs, budget constraints, and project specifications.    Load Calculations: Perform heat load calculations to determine the cooling and heating requirements for each project.    Equipment Selection: Select appropriate manufacturer HVAC equipment, including air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems, to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.    Ductwork and Piping Design: Design ductwork and piping layouts to distribute air and refrigerant effectively throughout the building.    Energy Efficiency: Optimize HVAC system designs for energy efficiency and sustainability, in accordance with industry standards and regulations.    Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications for HVAC systems.    Quality Assurance: Ensure that all designs adhere to safety standards, industry codes, and manufacturer guidelines, with a focus on manufacturer's products.    Collaboration: Work closely with installation teams to provide guidance during system installation and commissioning phases.    Client Support: Offer technical support and expertise to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns regarding HVAC system designs.    Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and manufacturer product innovations. Develop product roadmap for service for HVAC Residential or Applied applications Develop Parts strategies for equipment product lifecycle to service installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement Lead Product Growth Team by collaborating and coordinating with Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Merchandising Manager, Training Manager, Integrated Supply Chain, Engineering and Sales Responsible for product pricing across various channels
