Senior Frontend Developer – Next.js (3+ Years Experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Next.js Developer to join our growing frontend engineering team. You'll play a key role in building performant, scalable, and maintainable web applications using the latest React and Next.js frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable code in Next.js and React.js
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG)
• Integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL) and work closely with backend developers
• Optimize performance for speed, SEO, and responsiveness
• Build custom UI components and design systems using TailwindCSS/Material UI/Chakra (as per stack)
• Handle deployment using Vercel, Netlify, or custom CI/CD pipelines
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
• Debug production issues and improve overall web performance
• Collaborate with designers and product managers in agile/scrum teams

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and Next.js
• In-depth understanding of SSR, SSG, and App Router / Pages Router
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with headless CMSs (e.g., Strapi, Sanity, Contentful) and GraphQL
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (PRs, code reviews)
• Knowledge of web accessibility and SEO best practices
• Comfortable working with API integrations, authentication flows, and middleware
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Vercel Edge Functions or other edge runtimes
• Familiarity with analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, etc.)
• Exposure to monorepos using Turborepo or Nx
• Basic knowledge of backend (Node.js, Express) is a plus
• Prior experience with e-commerce, SaaS, or B2B platforms
