Job Objective:

We are looking for a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer with experience in Industrial Automation to build and optimize predictive maintenance solutions using time-series data from sensors, SCADA, DCS, and process historians. You will design models that can forecast asset failures and recommend corrective actions using AI/ML techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop predictive models using sensor, SCADA/DCS, and historian data.
• Build machine learning pipelines for anomaly detection, failure prediction, and root cause analysis.
• Integrate with OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus, and other industrial protocols to collect and process real-time data.
• Develop dashboards to visualize equipment health, early warning signals, and prescriptive actions.
• Leverage libraries of failure modes for rotating/static equipment (Pumps, Compressors, Fans, Turbines, etc.).
• Work with domain experts and mechanical engineers to fine-tune models for practical deployment.
• Conduct POC and deploy scalable AI/ML systems on edge, cloud, or hybrid infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in AI/ML with industrial or manufacturing data.
• Strong in Python, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy
• Hands-on experience with time-series analysis, anomaly detection, classification, regression models.
• Exposure to Edge AI, real-time data pipelines, or IIoT platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Kepware, Ignition, etc.)
• Familiarity with industrial protocols: OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT, or historian APIs.
• Experience with Dashboards – Power BI, Grafana, or custom web dashboards.
• Ability to translate mechanical/maintenance concepts into data science problems.
• Strong understanding of predictive maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, RUL, OEE, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of vibration analysis, thermography, motor current signature analysis is a plus.
• Certification in Industrial AI / Azure ML / AWS Sagemaker / IBM Maximo or equivalent tools is advantageous.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with tools like InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, Kafka, or Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with CMMS or EAM systems (SAP PM, IBM Maximo, etc.)
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Operations, Instrumentation, Maintenance)
