Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with deep expertise in SQL/MySQL, AWS Redshift, and infrastructure automation using Terraform. This role requires someone who can design scalable data solutions, lead database optimization efforts, and support modern data platforms in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage highly available, scalable databases — with a strong emphasis on SQL, MySQL, and AWS Redshift.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform for automating database and AWS infrastructure provisioning.
• Optimize performance and reliability across relational and NoSQL databases including Redshift, MySQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, and Neo4j.
• Lead data platform integration efforts with applications developed in Node.js and other backend technologies.
• Manage real-time and batch data pipelines using tools like Qlik Replicate and Kafka.
• Architect and maintain workflows using a range of AWS services, such as:

· Kinesis, Lambda, Glue, S3, Step Functions, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, EC2, CloudFormation, and API Gateway.

• Establish robust observability using tools like New Relic for database monitoring and performance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· 8+ years of professional experience in database administration and data engineering.

· Extensive hands-on experience with SQL and MySQL, and managing AWS Redshift in production environments.

· Strong command of Terraform for infrastructure automation and provisioning.

· Proficiency in PowerShell and Python for scripting and automation.

· Solid experience with Node.js or a similar programming language for integration.

· Working knowledge of Neo4j, DynamoDB, and SQL Server.

· Experience with Qlik Replicate and Kafka for data replication and streaming.

· Deep understanding of cloud architecture, event-driven systems, and serverless AWS environments.

· Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic.

· Familiarity with Okta for identity and access management.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to lead initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹2,000,000.00 per year
