Here are details of job requirements: Location: Remote – India (Night Shift) Industry: E-commerce / Furniture Retail Compensation: Competitive base + high-earning commission & bonus potential Options: Part time / Full time # of positions: 3 Level: Lead, Mid lvl and Junior Requirements - Proven experience in 3D furniture modeling, especially upholstered items like sofas. - Strong understanding of topology flow, quad modeling, and low-poly optimization. - Expertise in at least one major 3D software (Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, or equivalent). - Excellent skills in UV unwrapping and texture optimization. - Ability to create models with clean edge loops, perfect for close-up renders and web viewers. - Familiarity with baking details (normal maps, AO maps, etc.) for low-poly use. - Understanding of real-world scaling and measurement accuracy. - Ability to follow design changes and offer quick, flexible solutions. - Strong portfolio demonstrating past furniture models with wireframe previews. Responsibilities: Model sofas, sectionals, beds, and upholstered furniture based on reference images or drawings. Deliver models with clean quad-based topology optimized for rendering, web, and AR/VR. Maintain accurate real-world dimensions and scaling. Optimize models for low polygon count and small file size without losing important details. Perform UV unwrapping with clean, non-stretched layouts. Bake high-poly details (if needed) into normal maps for low-poly models. Handle furniture customizations, such as changing dimensions, cushion styles, stitching, legs, and tufting designs. Communicate effectively regarding revisions, corrections, or updates. Deliver organized files, including wireframes, UV maps, and texture setups if required.
