Job Description: SAP PS Consultant – Construction & Infrastructure Position: SAP PS (Project Systems) Consultant Industry: Construction and Infrastructure Projects Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in SAP PS, preferably with construction sector exposure Location: Mainpuri Employment Type: Contractual Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled SAP PS Consultant with strong expertise in managing end-to-end project management processes within SAP, specifically tailored to construction and infrastructure projects. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Project Systems (PS) to optimize project planning, execution, cost control, and reporting. Key Responsibilities • Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP PS module aligned with construction project requirements, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), networks, milestones, cost planning, budgeting, and settlement processes. • Integrate SAP PS with other modules such as MM (Materials Management), FI/CO (Finance & Controlling), SD (Sales & Distribution), and HR for seamless project lifecycle management. • Analyze business requirements through workshops and client sessions, translating them into SAP PS solutions and process improvements. • Manage project estimates, cost forecasts, billing, and revenue recognition within SAP PS for construction projects. • Support end-users by providing training, troubleshooting, and ongoing system enhancements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project data accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. • Monitor project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery. • Participate in full lifecycle SAP PS implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support. • Utilize project management tools (e.g., JIRA) to track tasks, issues, and deliverables. Desired Skills & Qualifications • 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Project Systems (PS) module, ideally in construction or infrastructure sectors. • Strong knowledge of SAP PS components: WBS, networks, milestones, cost planning, budgeting, billing, and settlement. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP FIORI implementations is a plus. • Familiarity with Construction Project Management (CPM) and SAP Commercial Project Management (CPM) solutions. • Ability to analyze project estimates, budgets, and actual costs for accuracy and control. • Understanding of integration points with MM, FI/CO, SD, PM, and other SAP modules. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. • Ability to conduct user training and prepare detailed documentation. • Project management skills including planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
