Job Description

SAP ABAP on HANA Developer

Location :

[Bangalore / Hyderabad / Coimbatore]

Experience :

5+ Years

Employment Type :

Full-time / Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on development and support in SAP R/3 and S/4HANA environments.
  • Develop and maintain RICEFW objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements (BADI), Forms
(Smart Forms, Adobe Forms).
  • Develop modern and clean ABAP code using Eclipse IDE.
  • Build CDS Views, OData services, and Web Services for integration scenarios.
  • Expertise in Adobe Standalone and Interactive Forms development.
  • Debug and redesign legacy R/3 logic into S/4HANA compatible formats.
  • Drive development aligned with Clean Core and API-first strategies.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to meet project delivery timelines.
  • Participate in DFMEA, code reviews, and testing activities.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP).
  • Deep knowledge in CDS Views, OData services, and BADI implementations.
  • Experience with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and SAP Scripts.
  • Proficiency in Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools.
  • Familiarity with Clean ABAP principles and modern ABAP syntax.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Good To Have

  • Experience in SAP Fiori and in-app extensibility.
  • Understanding of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
  • Exposure to S/4HANA extensibility techniques: Key User, Side-by-side, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP Quality Management module.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and a strong team player
