Retail Sales Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Database Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records (name, contact, preferences, purchase history).

Use CRM software (like Zoho, CRMs like Google sheet , Logic ERP).

2. Customer Engagement & Retention

Send personalized messages for birthdays, anniversaries, and festivals.

Inform customers about new collections, offers, and loyalty programs.

3. Follow-ups

Regular follow-up on inquiries, wish-listed items, and post-sale feedback.

Handle service-related issues (repairs, resizing, cleaning reminders).

4. Loyalty & Referral Programs

Implement and manage loyalty points, VIP customer review gifts, and referral gifts .

5. Reporting & Analysis

Track customer trends, frequency, and high-value clients.

Share insights with the sales team for targeted marketing.

Sales Role in Jewellery Shop

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Interaction & Sales Conversion

Greet customers, understand their requirements, and suggest suitable products.

Provide information on metals, diamonds, gemstones, purity, making charges, etc.

2. Product Knowledge

Be well-informed about all collections, promotions, certifications, and custom design options.

3. Upselling & Cross-Selling

Recommend matching accessories, higher-value items, or ongoing offers.

4. Billing & Documentation

Coordinate with billing, assist in documentation (especially for high-value sales).

5. Post-Sale Relationship

Thank customers and update CRM for future follow-up.

Encourage feedback or reviews.

Polished communication and persuasive skills

Product knowledge (gemstones, karat, hallmarking)

Salesmanship and confidence
