Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Jithvar Consultancy Services is a growing IT company specializing in delivering scalable web, mobile, AI, and enterprise solutions to global clients. We’re committed to engineering quality software and are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Conduct regression testing and verify bug fixes before product releases.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other team members to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous QA process improvement.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on QA/testing experience in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with manual testing and test case design.
• Basic knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, etc.).
• Familiarity with API testing, browser debugging tools, and database queries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Good to Have:

• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of testing mobile applications (Android/iOS).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
