Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

This position is ON-SITE working in the office 5 days a week. You will be well placed in our dynamic and friendly Development Team situated in the prestigious Silver Utopia Building, Chakala, Andheri East, Mumbai 400099, Maharashtra. We are looking for a QA Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role suitable for individuals who are detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about delivering bug-free, high-quality applications across web and mobile platforms. You will analyze product requirements, design implementations, and participate in integration testing. You will be part of a very innovative, dedicated, and high-performance team and need to match their level of excellence and diligence in delivering world-class banking applications. The incumbent is expected to always consider Ziksus objectives first when undertaking all duties, communicate effectively, model integrity and respect in all interactions, operate within Ziksus framework, policies, and procedures, collaborate with staff in other departments, and facilitate business improvements as appropriate. Additionally, you must demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills, customer focus, alignment with Ziksus strategic objectives, support organizational change and continuous improvement, and comply with the requirements of Ziksus Code of Conduct and all relevant legislation including EEO, OSH, and Records Management. Key Responsibilities: - Execute manual test cases and contribute to automated testing for web and mobile applications (iOS & Android) - Collaborate closely with developers, QA leads, and product managers to understand requirements and define effective test strategies - Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke/Sanity, and Performance Testing - Identify, document, and track defects or inconsistencies using tools like JIRA - Ensure releases are stable, user-friendly, and meet functional expectations before deployment across UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments - Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to the team's continuous quality improvement - Support test planning and documentation including test case writing, execution, and reporting - Validate API behavior and perform backend testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools Required Skills: - Exposure to automated testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks is a plus - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, STLC, SDLC, and Agile workflows - Familiar with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.) - Good experience in SQL for validating data integrity and backend testing - Proficient in using MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) for reporting and documentation - Exposure to REST APIs, with experience in tools like Postman or Swagger - Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills - Good communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams - Willingness to learn and take initiative in improving QA processes and automation coverage Qualifications & Experience: - Educational Qualification: Bachelors / masters degree in engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related) - ISTQB Certification (Essential) - Agile Certification (Preferred) - Minimum 2-4 years of experience of hands-on QA/testing Please note: Preference will be given to availability for an IMMEDIATE START (within 7 Days).
