Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Wishfin.com, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications and software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify issues, conduct tests, and implement solutions to deliver high-quality software to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts, as well as conducting functional, regression, and performance testing. You will be expected to identify and report software defects, analyze software requirements, and collaborate with developers to clarify requirements. Additionally, you will document test results, defects, and test cases in a clear and organized manner, and execute automated tests to validate fixes and enhancements while ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. You must have a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices, experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Appium, and knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent communication skills are also required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
