Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Reporting to: Plant Head / Director – Operations

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead and manage the QA/QC department across production lines for HVAC air filters

and cleanroom components.

 Implement zero-defect quality systems using tools like Six Sigma, 5S, FMEA, Kaizen, and

Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

 Conduct rigorous incoming, in-process, and final inspections with documentation as per

ISO 9001:2015 and industry standards.

 Design and implement audit protocols, CAPA systems, and non-conformance

management.

 Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, EN779, ISO 16890, and GMP standards for HVAC

filtration products.

 Establish and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality

Control Plans (QCPs).

 Drive continuous improvement through actionable insights, metrics, and performance

dashboards.

 Lead internal trainings and workshops to build a quality-first culture on the shop floor.

 Work closely with R&D, Production, and Sales for seamless quality integration in new

product development.

Candidate Requirements:

 B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial or relevant discipline (mandatory).

 2 to 6 years of core experience in quality assurance within HVAC manufacturing,

especially air filters.

 Strong knowledge of HEPA/ULPA/Pre/Bag/Panel filter specifications, testing methods,

and performance validation.

 Practical exposure to automated inspection systems, ERP-integrated QA systems, and

lean quality tools.

 Firm yet professional personality – able to command discipline, enforce processes, and

resist compromise.

 Demonstrated ability to manage audits, client inspections, and cross-functional quality

reviews.

 Knowledge of latest QA tools and digital platforms (e.g., Power BI, QC ERP modules,

Smart Factory tools) is a plus.

 Excellent documentation, communication, and people-management skills.
