Job Overview:

Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
• Integrate and manage backend services on AWS
• Work with PostgreSQL to create and optimize database schemas and queries
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the backend stack

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of backend development experience with Python
• Proven expertise with FastAPI framework
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS)
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on short-term agile projects
• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker)

CI/CD pipeline experience is a plus
