Project Manager - IT Project Delivery

We are looking for a seasoned IT Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in software project delivery and a minimum of 2 years in a formal project management role.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end delivery of software development projects, with a focus on timelines, scope, budget, and quality.
• Lead AI-related initiatives, ensuring close coordination between data science, engineering, and business teams.
• Oversee project governance, reporting, risk/issue tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage project resources effectively, including task allocation, workload balancing, and capacity forecasting.
• Handle vendor interactions and procurement processes, ensuring timely onboarding of tools, services, or third-party consultants.
• Monitor and track KPIs and SLAs, escalating issues as needed to keep the project on track.
• Drive agile and/or waterfall project delivery methodologies as per business and project needs.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including schedules, budgets, change logs, and communication plans.
• Lead project review meetings with internal and external stakeholders and provide actionable insights.
  

Mandatory Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in delivering enterprise-grade software projects (Applications only; Testing, Infrastructure, and Mainframe projects are excluded).
• 2+ years of formal experience in a Project Manager role, leading software delivery teams.
• Proven exposure to AI/ML projects, including collaboration with data science teams and understanding of typical AI project lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience in resource planning, capacity management, and procurement/vendor coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or equivalent).
  

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Masters preferred)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience working in cross-functional and distributed teams
