Project Engineer

Role Overview

The Project Engineer acts as a vital bridge between the design studio and the construction site. You will be responsible for translating architectural concepts into technically sound, well-constructed buildings, while ensuring quality, budget, and timeline compliance across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

• Prepare daily progress reports and detailed weekly reports to track project milestones and timelines.

Coordination and Communication:

• Serve as the central point of contact for coordination with different stakeholders, including contractors, client (government authorities), and designer.
• Facilitate seamless communication across teams to ensure project alignment.

Scheduling and Planning:

• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.

Monitoring Site Activities:

• Oversee and monitor daily site activities to ensure work progress aligns with project plans.
• Identify and address any issues or delays promptly.

Documentation and Drawing Management:

• Prepare daily progress reports and detailed weekly reports to track project milestones and timelines.
• Track, organize, and update project drawings to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Maintain project documentation for easy reference and compliance purposes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role within an architecture or construction firm.
• Solid understanding of building systems, materials, construction methods, and
• detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office. Knowledge of BIM workflows is
• a plus.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on public projects.
• Familiarity with public technical sanction, and tendering processes.
• Understanding of local building codes and statutory approval processes.
