Welcome to TEACH - Established in 2016, operating across three campuses in Mumbai, Pune, and

Delhi, TEACH redefines conventional education. We offer a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program

and a wide range of additional skills, including computer skills, arts & design, to empower our

students, that are tailored to the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.

Our Placement Cell supports students with internships, job opportunities, and corporate training,

while also working with companies to promote inclusive hiring through sensitization sessions and

post-placement support.


Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead – Placement & Corporate Relations located in Mumbai. The

Lead will be responsible for driving the placement strategy, building and maintaining corporate

relationships, and supporting students' transition into professional roles. The position includes

planning and executing end-to-end placement processes, conducting training programs, identifying

suitable opportunities based on student profiles, and fostering long-term partnerships with

employers.

The role also involves overseeing internship programs, facilitating sensitization workshops with

companies, and supporting post-placement engagement to ensure retention and career growth for

Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.


Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to guide students and match them to suitable job roles
  • Experience working with persons with disabilities is preferred


Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Build and manage partnerships with Corporates, NGOs, and Government bodies for

Internships and Placements

  • Handle end-to-end placement activities: outreach, screening, interviews, and follow-ups
  • Match students to suitable job roles based on skills, education, and career goals
  • Organize Sensitization sessions and Volunteering session to promote inclusive hiring

practices

  • Oversee the maintenance of student placement data, including readiness and progress

tracking

  • Ensure internship programs are well-documented and aligned with students’ learning

outcomes

  • Review reports and analyze placement trends to guide future planning and strategies
  • Oversee post-placement support to ensure smooth transitions and retention
  • Coordinate with faculty to align curriculum with industry requirements
  • Lead outreach efforts including LinkedIn campaigns, campus tours, corporate visits, and job
