Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to join our Management Department. The OSD will play a pivotal role in supporting the department's strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational skills, the ability to manage complex projects, and a keen understanding of management practices and educational administration.

Responsibilities:

• Administrative Support:
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of departmental activities and events.
• Manage scheduling, correspondence, and documentation related to departmental functions.
• Project Management:
• Oversee and coordinate special projects and initiatives as assigned by department leadership.
• Monitor project progress, ensure deadlines are met, and report on project outcomes.
• Strategic Planning:
• Support the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives for the department.
• Conduct research and provide data analysis to inform decision-making processes.
• Communication:
• Serve as a liaison between the department and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for departmental meetings and events.
• Resource Management:
• Assist in the management of departmental resources, including budget tracking and procurement.
• Ensure that resources are utilized effectively and in line with departmental goals.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that departmental activities comply with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of operation.
• Faculty and Student Support:
• Provide support to faculty and students as needed, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
• Facilitate communication between faculty, students, and departmental leadership.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in management, administrative roles, or related positions.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
