About Us

Bajaj Carpet Industries Limited is a leading Tier-1 supplier to the automotive industry, specializing in NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) solutions through advanced non-woven, felt, and composite materials. Our innovative acoustic systems are integrated by top OEMs to deliver superior comfort, lightweighting, and performance. As we expand our R&D capabilities at our Ranjangaon facility, we are looking to hire a driven and technically sound NVH Engineer / to lead the design, development, and validation of next-generation acoustic materials and assemblies.

Position: NVH Engineer (with a lead role on offer for the right individual)

Department: Product Development / R&D

Location: Ranjangaon, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities

· Material Development & Prototyping:

o Lead the development of new NVH material composites focused on lightweighting and acoustic performance.

o Design and engineer prototype samples based on OEM specifications and application requirements.

· Project Leadership:

o Manage development programs from concept to validation—including BOM generation, prototyping, functional testing, and customer approval.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and technical sales to ensure project milestones are met.

· Acoustic Testing & Analysis:

o Conduct sound absorption, insulation, and transmission loss testing on materials and assemblies.

o Perform benchmarking studies and conduct gap analysis.

· Data Management & Reporting:

o Compile and analyze technical data from lab tests and simulations to draw actionable conclusions.

o Document results, propose enhancements, and support the preparation of reports and presentations for OEM customers.

· OEM Compliance & Validation:

o Ensure materials and parts comply with OEM NVH performance standards and testing protocols.

o Coordinate with customers for validation trials and provide technical support during audits and reviews.

Candidate Profile

· Experience:

o 3–6 years in NVH engineering, materials development, or acoustic simulation/testing in the automotive or materials sector.

o Experience working with non-wovens, felts, and thermoplastic composites is highly desirable.

· Technical Skills:

o Strong grasp of NVH principles, acoustic material properties, and material design for noise control.

o Hands-on experience in NVH test equipment, including impedance tubes, reverberation chambers, and transmission loss rigs.

o Familiarity with acoustic simulation tools (e.g., VA One, LMS, or equivalent) is a plus.

· Education:

o B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive / Materials / Acoustics Engineering.

· Soft Skills:

o Strong project management, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

o Ability to interact effectively with OEM customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
