Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly curious and trend-savvy individual to join our team in a creative New

Product Development (NPD) role focused on market research, consumer insights, and product

ideation. This person will play a key role in identifying emerging trends in skincare and fragrance,

exploring new product ideas, and recommending innovative concepts based on real-time market

data and consumer behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth market research across D2C brands, marketplaces, and offline retail to

spot product gaps and innovation opportunities.

• Monitor consumer trends, preferences, and behavior through social media platforms,

influencer content, and user-generated feedback.

• Analyze competitor offerings and identify whitespace opportunities in the skincare and

fragrance categories.

• Curate and present product concept decks with rationale, global/local inspiration, trend

analysis, and consumer demand indicators.

• Explore innovation in formats, ingredients, packaging ideas (conceptually, not technically).

• Stay updated with global trends via Social Media platforms and beauty forums.

• Collaborate closely with the founder and leadership team to shape the product pipeline

through idea generation and consumer-first thinking.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 3–6 years of experience in consumer research, product strategy, category management, or

brand innovation—preferably in personal care, beauty, lifestyle, or FMCG.

• Strong instinct for what’s trending—online and offline—and ability to connect those dots to

real consumer needs.

• Excellent research, analytical, and storytelling skills.

• A passion for skincare, fragrances, and the evolving beauty industry.

• Self-driven and proactive, with a startup-friendly mindset.

• Experience using tools like Google Trends, Instagram Insights, or trend analysis platforms is a

plus.
