This role is for a Database Migration Engineer or Cloud Database Specialist with a strong focus on cloud-based database migration and management, particularly involving PostgreSQL and Cassandra.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server environments.
• Administer Cassandra clusters hosted on virtual machines.
• Plan and execute migrations, including:
• Cassandra VM migrations
• PostgreSQL migrations from AWS to Azure
• Implement backup/restore strategies, replication, and disaster recovery.

Automate database operations using tools like:

• Jenkins
• Terraform
• Scripting (likely Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
• Ensure database and cloud security, including:
• Authentication & authorization
• Encryption
• Auditing

✅ Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server: performance tuning, lifecycle management, etc.
