Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical/Robotics Engineering Intern to join our team for a 3-month onsite internship. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced medical manufacturing environment, contributing to critical aspects of product development, quality assurance, and operational setup. The intern will work closely with our engineering and quality teams, playing a vital role in our ongoing projects.


Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical/Robotics Engineering Intern, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

  • Mechanical and Electrical Drawing Generation:

     Assisting the engineering team in creating, modifying, and reviewing mechanical drawings using CAD software.
  • Office Setup Aid:

     Providing support in the physical setup and organisation of a new medical manufacturing assembly line and office space.
  • ISO 13485 Document Generation & Auditing:

     Contributing to the development and maintenance of quality management system documentation in accordance with ISO 13485 standards, and aiding in internal auditing processes.
  • Test Kit Assembly & Record Keeping:

     Assembling medical test kits, meticulously recording quality notes, and maintaining accurate documentation of the assembly process.
  • Quality Checks & Recording:

     Performing quality inspections on fabricated parts, identifying non-conformances, and accurately recording findings to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Fabrication and Assembly of Devices:

    Assisting in the hands-on fabrication and assembly of medical devices, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles and design.
  • Familiarity with Creo Parametric software is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
