Role Overview:

Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop machine components, assemblies, and full systems using

  Creo 6.0

  and related CAD tools.
• Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and full manufacturing documentation including BOMs.
• Execute DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Work closely with production, automation, electrical, and procurement teams to ensure seamless integration and manufacturability.
• Support prototype development, testing, and field implementation of new designs.
• Apply hygienic design principles and CE compliance in all projects.
• Handle change management and design revisions using PDM tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) –

  Must

• 3–6 years of experience in mechanical design within machinery, industrial equipment, or automation sectors
• Strong command over

  Creo (preferably Creo 6.0)

  , GD&T, and mechanical design standards
• Solid understanding of

  sheet metal

  ,

  machined parts

  ,

  SS304 material handling

  , and

  weldment designs

• Familiarity with pneumatics, geared motors, and integration of standard components like

  Siemens

  and

  Nord

  systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret and prepare technical documentation and manufacturing drawings

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in food machinery design or packaging equipment
• Exposure to CE-marked equipment and hygienic design standards
• Knowledge of PLM tools such as Windchill
• Hands-on knowledge of prototyping, testing, and product validation
