Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving products and systems in line with project requirements, quality standards, and customer needs. This role involves creating technical drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying innovative thinking to solve design challenges. Role & responsibilities Develop and design components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA,CADMate). Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and prototyping. Conduct feasibility studies, engineering analyses, and simulations. Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure design viability. Modify and revise existing designs to meet customer specifications, improve performance, or reduce costs. Prepare technical documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), specifications, and manuals. Participate in design reviews and provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Diploma/Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering 3+ years of experience in a design engineering role Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools. 3D Modelling and Software knowledge is required. Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Preferred candidate profile Experience with FEA, CFD, or other simulation software. Knowledge of industry-specific standards (ASME, ISO, ANSI, etc.). Hands-on prototyping or testing experience.
