Marketing Intern – Communication & Creative Strategy (Home Insurance)



Location: Gurgaon

Mode: Work from office, 5days

Duration: 6 months


About the Role

We are looking for a driven and creative Marketing Intern to join our Home Insurance team. The ideal candidate will support the team in revamping, developing, and brainstorming compelling online and offline communication strategies that grab attention, address customer pain points, and drive traffic to Policybazaar’s website—ultimately leading to conversions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Revamp existing communication material to make it more impactful, customer-centric, and action-driven.
  • Develop fresh messaging ideas across various channels—social media, WhatsApp, email, SMS, posters, banners, website content, etc.
  • Collaborate with design, performance marketing, and product teams to execute communication strategies in sync with customer journeys.
  • Analyze customer behavior and pain points, and translate those insights into powerful, relatable communication.
  • Support in campaign planning, concept development, and content briefing for both online and offline promotions.
  • Stay updated with market trends, competitors’ messaging, and insurance industry narratives to ensure content relevance.
  • Assist in writing and editing short-form and long-form copy for campaigns, creatives, and communication assets.


What We’re Looking for

  • A strong interest in consumer psychology, marketing, and storytelling.
  • Creative mindset with an ability to think out-of-the-box and craft hooks that convert.
  • Good understanding of digital and offline marketing channels.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and research skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of tools like campaign/CRM platforms is a plus.


Preferred Background

  • Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or related fields.
  • Prior internship or project experience in content writing, branding, or digital marketing is a plus.
