Our client is looking for a Head of Brand Marketing who can lead the evolution of the brand from a product-led business to a culture-defining force. This is not a conventional marketing role — it requires someone who thinks beyond ads and campaigns, and instead uses storytelling, content, and community to embed the brand into the everyday lives of consumers. You’ll be responsible for building a brand that reflects and influences modern Indian culture. Key Responsibilities Brand & Cultural Strategy Define a brand identity rooted in contemporary Indian culture, digital behaviors, and generational values Develop a long-term brand roadmap that integrates storytelling, product truth, and cultural relevance Build emotional resonance through narratives that reflect consumer aspirations and trends Campaign & Content Leadership Lead integrated marketing campaigns that spark conversations and shift perceptions Collaborate with creators, influencers, artists, and cultural communities to create culturally rich, memorable campaigns Develop content-led brand IPs that build affinity and engagement Consumer Understanding & Brand Health Leverage market research, trend analysis, and user insights to inform strategy Track and improve brand awareness, affinity, and consideration metrics Stay ahead of emerging trends, subcultures, and cultural moments Cross-functional Collaboration & Team Leadership Work closely with Product, Growth, Social Media, PR, and Leadership to align brand with business goals Lead and mentor a high-performing internal team and manage external agency partners Own the brand marketing budget and ROI tracking Qualifications 10+ years of experience in brand marketing or related fields with a strong consumer-facing portfolio Proven success in building and scaling culturally resonant brands — preferably in consumer tech, FMCG, D2C, or entertainment Strong storytelling skills and an understanding of how to build brand equity through both digital and offline media Experience working with creators, influencers, and content platforms Deep appreciation for Indian culture, regional diversity, and emerging youth behavior Creative, collaborative, data-driven, and emotionally intelligent Show more Show less
