Manual Tester

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manual Tester to join our QA team. The Manual Tester will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications by performing thorough testing and reporting issues. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive manual testing on web and mobile applications. Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and scripts. Identify, analyze, and document defects, inconsistencies, and errors found during testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure a high-quality user experience. Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of features after updates and changes. Participate in requirements analysis to understand project scope and identify test requirements. Assist in reproducing, diagnosing, and resolving customer-reported issues. Provide timely and accurate status updates to the QA lead and other stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2+ years of experience in manual software testing. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, qTest). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to testing. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with mobile app testing (iOS and Android). Basic knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus but not required. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Why Join Us?
