Job Title: Manager – Quality (Spinning Unit)

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the quality function in a large spinning unit (100,000 spindles), ensuring consistent delivery of quality yarn for both local and export markets. This role will focus on achieving high yarn quality, addressing customer feedback, and maintaining compliance with social and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to specified quality parameters for combed warp, hosiery counts, dyed packages, core-spandex, slub yarns, and export-grade yarns.
• Monitor and analyze daily quality test results, promptly identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure optimal yarn realization and minimal wastage through effective process control.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to maintain required quality standards.
• Develop and implement suitable cotton mixing parameters based on product requirements.
• Possess a strong understanding of medium and fine cotton yarn counts.
• Hands-on experience with KTTM, Trützschler, and LMW machinery.
• Good understanding of key maintenance schedules and their impact on product quality.
• Handle customer feedback efficiently and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring product quality meets expectations.
• Lead social and sustainability compliance audits (GOTS, OCS, BCI, Regenagri, Oeko-Tex, Inditex, GCC).
• Maintain all required records and documentation for certifications and audits.
• Generate quality reports and conduct root cause analysis for any quality issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all quality-related activities.

• Proficiency in computer applications (Excel, ERP systems).
• In-depth knowledge of cotton yarn manufacturing and quality systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Textile Technology or relevant field.
• 10–15 years of experience in managing quality in large spinning units (minimum 100K spindles).
• Familiarity with domestic and export yarn quality standards.
