Job Description

Lead end-to-end procurement and logistics operations—driving strategic sourcing, purchasing, inventory control, supplier contracts, and logistics coordination (inbound/outbound). This role ensures a reliable, cost-effective supply of materials while optimizing warehouse and transport activities to support manufacturing continuity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -

Procurement & Purchasing

  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with production demand and cost savings goals
  • Forecast demand, control inventory levels, and partner with production, sales, and quality teams
  • Analyze market trends, manage risk, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
  • Prepare procurement reports and track cost savings, supplier KPIs, and purchase budgets

Logistics & Supply Chain

  • Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, including freight, customs, and warehousing operations.
  • Manage inventory accuracy and warehouse processes, ensuring timely receipt, blending, staging, and dispatch.
  • Coordinate with carriers, custom brokers, 3PLs; resolve shipment delays, damages, and discrepancies.
  • Track logistics metrics (e.g., On Time Delivery, transit time, costs), implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, safety, and environmental standards

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor the Purchase & Logistics team; foster cross-functional collaboration with production, finance, quality, and sales business.linkedin.com.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement, lean principles, and ethical sourcing .
  • Implement or improve ERP/inventory/logistics tools (e.g. SAP, Oracle)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Performance bonus
  • Yearly bonus
