Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Manager with strong expertise in import and export operations to manage and optimize the flow of goods, materials, and packaging solutions. The successful candidate will oversee warehousing, transportation, distribution, and international logistics to support production and delivery schedules efficiently and cost-effectively. Experience in the printing and packaging sector is essential.

Key Responsibilities:Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Plan and oversee logistics operations for raw materials and finished goods (both domestic and international).
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Manage inventory levels in coordination with procurement and production teams.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Import & Export Management

  • Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists).
  • Handle HS code classification, duties, taxes, and trade compliance.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation for air, sea, and land freight.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure smooth clearance of goods.

Warehouse & Distribution

  • Monitor warehouse operations including storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Implement best practices in warehouse layout, inventory management, and FIFO/LIFO methods.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular inventory audits.

Operational Efficiency & Cost Control

  • Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts with freight and logistics providers to achieve competitive rates and service quality.
  • Implement KPIs and continuously monitor logistics performance metrics.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Supervise and train logistics and warehouse personnel.
  • Collaborate with vendors, internal teams (procurement, production, sales), and customers to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably within the printing and packaging industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of import/export regulations, international freight, and Incoterms.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, ERP).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
