Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in testing web applications (PHP) and mobile applications.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in translating product definitions (use cases, requirements, etc.) into test cases.
  • Excellent knowledge of QA processes and tools.
  • Working knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Excellent hands-on skills with testing activities (functional testing, API testing, Regression Testing, system testing, integration testing, etc.)
  • Experience in developing test cases covering regression and integration scenarios.
  • Flexible work style, comfortable with adapting to various work assignments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in analysing requirement specifications for testability.
  • Experience in test case execution and reporting.
  • Ability to understand and interpret UI specifications, design docs, software requirements, and design guidelines.
  • Familiar with using test/defect management tools (JIRA knowledge would be preferred).
  • Effectively document identified defects in the defect tracking systems, i.e., easily understood by the developers; work with developers as necessary to resolve issues.
  • Summarize and report results of testing to management and stakeholders.
  • Self-starting nature with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience in performance testing using JMeter or Neo Load tools.
  • Hands-on experience an automation tool using Selenium Web driver.
  • Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle and must collaboratively work in a team with a sense of ownership. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Database testing.
  • Experience with Selenium Webdriver.
  • Experience with performance testing using JMeter or NeoLoad tools.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, Core Java.


Education and Experience:

BE /B. Tech/MCA

ISTQB certification will be preferred, not mandatory.
