Junior Payroll Executive - at SION West Mumbai

A Payroll Executive with 3 years of experience is responsible for overseeing the complete payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employee wages while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role involves managing payroll data, processing payroll, handling deductions and taxes, resolving discrepancies, and providing support to employees on payroll-related matters. 

Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing:

• Managing the entire payroll process, including salary calculations, deductions (taxes, insurance, etc.), and ensuring accurate and timely payment through various methods. 

• Data Management:

• Maintaining and updating employee payroll records, including personal information, salary changes, and other relevant data. 

• Compliance:

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws, regulations, and company policies. 

• Tax Management:

• Calculating and managing employee tax withholdings, preparing and submitting tax reports, and staying updated on tax law changes. 

• Issue Resolution:

• Investigating and resolving any payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries related to payroll. 

• Experience:

   3+ years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a similar role. 

• Technical Skills:

   Proficiency in payroll software, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of tax regulations. 

• Analytical Skills:

   Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

• Attention to Detail:

   Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll processing. 

• Communication Skills:

   Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees and other stakeholders. 

• Organizational Skills:

   Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. 

• Confidentiality:

   Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
