Junior Backend Developer - AWS Platform

We are seeking a

Junior Backend Developer

with hands-on experience in Python development and strong exposure to AWS cloud services.The ideal candidate should understand how to connect and interact with databases from Python code, build Lambda functions that interface with backend systems, and be comfortable with AWS services like ECS, CloudFormation, S3, EC2, Cognito, and Route 53.This is a great opportunity for someone looking to deepen their backend and cloud experience in a real-world, production-grade environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
• Write Python scripts/functions that interact with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Build and deploy AWS Lambda functions, including integration with databases and other AWS services.
• Work with AWS CloudFormation to define and manage infrastructure, especially ECS clusters.
• Configure and maintain services like EC2, S3, Route 53, and Cognito as part of backend deployment.
• Ensure secure and scalable API development and integrations.
• Participate in debugging, optimization, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with DevOps, front-end, and QA teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of Python for backend development.
• Practical experience connecting Python applications to databases using libraries like SQLAlchemy, psycopg2, or PyMySQL.
• Hands-on experience writing AWS Lambda functions in Python, especially with database interaction.
• Knowledge of ECS and CloudFormation templates for deploying containerized services.
• Familiarity with Route 53 (DNS management), Cognito (authentication), S3 (storage), and EC2 (compute).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and backend web services.
• Version control with Git.
  

Nice To Have

• Exposure to Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., CodePipeline, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with IAM roles and permissions.
• Logging and monitoring with tools like CloudWatch. :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 03 years of professional backend development experience.
