Jr. Project Engineer

A Junior Project Engineer assists in the planning, design, and execution of projects, supporting senior engineers and contributing to project success. Key responsibilities of a Junior Project Engineer might include: Supporting project planning and design: Assisting with project scope definition, objective setting, and developing plans, schedules, and budgets. Technical support and documentation: Providing technical support for design, engineering, and documentation, including reviewing designs for accuracy and compliance. Coordination and communication: Coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and subcontractors. Data analysis and reporting: Collecting, analyzing, and reporting project progress, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies. Quality assurance and control: Assisting with quality assurance activities, conducting inspections and tests, and ensuring compliance with requirements. Compliance and safety: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and conducting safety inspections and risk assessments. Learning and development: Learning from senior engineers and gaining experience in project management best practices. In a broader sense, Junior Project Engineers often: Assist in developing project schedules and timelines: Many Junior Engineers develop project schedules and deliverable timelines, and prepare progress reports to share with the project team.
