The channel features a diverse range of travel-related content, including destination features, cultural explorations, food experiences, adventure travel, and luxury escapes. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Journalist to join our Editorial team, with a strong focus on travel and tourism industry news, trends, and events. This role is not related to TV show scripting or production but is centered around journalistic reporting of developments in sectors such as aviation, hospitality, destination marketing, travel technology, and policy changes. The ideal candidate should be highly curious about the travel ecosystem, have a flair for storytelling with a journalistic edge, and be skilled at crafting insightful, data-informed articles that inform professionals and stakeholders in the industry. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Content Creation & Reporting: - Research and write well-crafted articles on travel trends, destination analysis, hotel and airline insights, and industry news. - Create engaging newsletters with actionable insights for B2B readers. 2. Industry & Market Research: - Analyze market trends, tourism board data, and destination reports. - Track policy changes, demand signals, and industry developments. 3. Content Optimization: - Ensure articles follow SEO best practices. - Create content that drives high engagement and shares. 4. Event Coverage: - Attend virtual and physical travel events, expos, and summits. - Provide post-event reports, and exclusive interviews. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field. - 0–2 years of experience in journalism, preferably covering travel, hospitality, or business sectors. - Excellent writing, interviewing, and reporting skills. - Strong understanding of digital publishing platforms and basic SEO. - Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
