Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with expertise in Java, microservices architecture, API development, and Kafka streaming on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions and exhibiting strong collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and APIs.

Implement and manage Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in Java development.

Proven experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.

Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and stream processing.

Strong understanding of GCP services and cloud-native technologies.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong understanding of software development best practices
