IT Operations Engineer

Job Summary

The IT engineer will oversee the technical infrastructure, ensuring efficient operation of day-to-day tasks. This role includes managing Microsoft 365 components, network infrastructure and providing support for various devices. This also includes security initiatives related to ISO: ISMS and SOC 2 audits.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support and Troubleshooting

• Serve as the first point of contact for helpdesk tickets, providing timely support for hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laptops, peripherals (e.g., printers, monitors) and common office applications.
• Provide hands-on and remote support to end-users, including setup and onboarding of new employees.

System and Infrastructure Maintenance

• Install, configure, and update operating systems, business applications, collaboration tools, and antivirus software.
• Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting on A/V systems, meeting room equipment, and office network connectivity.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and assist with first-level network support and escalations.

Vendor Coordination and Compliance Support

• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, service calls and delivery follow-ups.
• Support adherence to IT policies, security procedures/standards such as (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
• Assist in documentation, incident reporting, and participation in internal audits when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in IT
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 components and network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ISO: ISMS audit processes and requirements.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MS 365 administrator) are a plus.
